Artichoke Art Studio is hosting a 3-day Winter Puppets and Theater Day Camp in Gaithersburg, Maryland, for students ages 6–15! Young artists and aspiring actors are invited to explore the creative world of puppetry through hands-on activities, puppet-making, and theater performance. In just three days, students will design and create their own puppets and bring them to life through short theatrical scenes.

Throughout the camp, students will discover different types of puppetry, including marionettes, hand puppets, and rod puppets. With guidance from professional puppet designer Ksenya Litvak, each student will create their own puppet while learning about different puppet construction techniques. Students will also work with professional puppet theater director Andrey Sturman to develop their puppetry skills, practice operating different puppet systems, and rehearse short theatrical scenes.
