ARTICHOKE ART STUDIO
Teaching Studio Art Since 1999

WELCOME TO ARTICHOKE ART STUDIO
BE SAFE AT ARTICHOKE ART STUDIO
We will be implementing a few rules and changes for in-person classes this year to keep everyone safe. We hope you will appreciate our efforts and will do your part as well so that we all stay safe (it truly is a team effort!)
To allow for social distancing, the number of students will be limited to 8 per class ( Young Artists) and 12 students per class ( Studio Art). This number might increase in case we have siblings, who do not need to socially distance from one another.
To ensure a spot in the class, each student must be registered online Registration. Please, notify us ASAP if your plans or situations have changed after you submitted a registration so we may offer a freed spot to another student.
Everyone (both children over 6 years old and adults) must always wear a mask.
We built safety pods for our younger students ( but teenage artists also can fit inside).
Make up classes will be available by appointment only
( please, email or call Ksenya) 202 3909031 or ksenyalitvak@gmail.com
This is how our studio looks now. We have cleaning supply, hand sanitizer, masks and germicidal UV lamp and many fun safety umbrellas that will be cleaned between classes with alcohol spray (75%).

This program is designed to give students the opportunity to develop and express their ideas clearly through various art materials. The process of self-expression is a pleasure and a challenge that requires a willingness to be personally involved with each project. Students use a wide variety of materials and techniques, including drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and ceramics, and the class includes a look at the history of art around the world. As the students become increasingly familiar with the qualities and limitations of different art materials and techniques, they start to “think through the materials” and are better able to visually express their ideas with eloquence and complexity
